After sitting around by my television, waiting for some spectacular computer-generated miracle this evening, I decided that I have had enough.  This BCS crap isn’t working, so I’m throwing out the “carefully calculated”  numbers.  With your help, we are about to complete the first ever college football playoff bracket.

It’s really quite simple.  By taking the 25 teams ranked in the most recent installment of the BCS rankings, combined with 7 other deserving teams (sans USC, due to probation), the field of 32 has been set.   Whatever team gets the most votes advances.  Simple enough.  Let’s begin.

(Quick note:  Voting for this round will end next Sunday (12/11 at 5 p.m.)
